Class 14

Last class, I had issues with some of my objects refusing to be UVed properly. Hope had suggested importing my problem objects into Houdini and cleaning up the geometry in there and I'm sad to say that it didn't help. It definitely helped clean up geometry that needed it, but I am still running into the same processing error when I try to run the Unfold 3D function on any remotely 'complex' geometry.

I was browsing forums for people who had run into the same issue, and it seems like this is a common thing for users with an AMD Ryzen 9 3900x CPU, which is the processor that have. I've tried loading and unloading Unfold 3D, uninstalling and reinstalling Maya, opening Maya as an administrator, etc. I haven't looked to see if there is a BIOS update that I can install, since some people have suggested that that may help. Another suggestion was disabling the SMT (simultaneous multi-threading), though I don't understand why that would be the issue. Now I have a bunch of troubleshooting to look forward to this weekend. Hopefully, I actually get it working because I don't know what to do if I can't. And judging by forums, the chances of fixing this issue are slim.

So far, there's 4 objects that I haven't been able to UV because of this: the stepped altar platform, the temple foundation, the temple walls, and the face towers. Therefore, the only thing I really have to show is the fact that I fixed my camera moves so the animation is actually a continuous loop.
